8th August 2006, Tuesday

Dear Diary,
I've smoothly settled down at the university of St. Andrews.

The university is the biggest, most bewildering place - in the first week, I get lost whenever I leave my residence area. But now I'm feeling less muddled and find the university gets nicer and nicer. There is such a good place with larger sod ground and fresh green with azure sky.
Seems I bring a good weather to Scotland, in these 4 weeks, nearly everyday is sunny. After all, it should be seldom to get sun in UK. ?

My room is up in a tower. There are four other girls on the same loor of the tower, shaing one kitchen room. My room is on the Northeast corner with one big window and a seascape view. It's great!

I should write a letter to you eariler to get acquainted. But i've never thought the student life at here would be so busy. Today I've just finished two tests , one is testing group presentation skill ( i got 19, hehehe...) another is Corp. finance test.

I also have a 1200-words essay due Monday morning and a review in Mintzberg's 10 schools

I meant to come here having a big rest and refreshment...rebuilding. Now, the hope is waning. I need to get ready for the coming day.
Poor diary, you must be tired! I meant this to be a short little note to just get acquainted but when i started i seem to have a ready pen.

Goodbye, and have a good weekend.

Best wishes,
Jessie
